Does Alt Text help with website accessibility? Yes, including Alt Text on your images and videos allows website visitors with disabilities, such as the blind or visually impaired, to use a screen reader on your website. The screen reader will read the Alt Text to describe the images or videos on your website, so the user has the ability to visualize the image without actually seeing it.
How do I add Alt Text to my website images and videos? Most web platforms have a space specifically for adding Alt Text to any images or videos. In Wix, you can add Alt Text to individual images, images in strips and columns, videos, and galleries, under the Settings area.
